CAKE, COOKIES, Or ICE-CREAM? HARD CHOICE!!
Anyway...Cake in ice-cream? or ice-cream in cake? which is better? the junkeroo monster will answer that =) both are to die for but cake in ice-cream's better than ice-cream cake =)
Opps I forgot chocolate but then I think I won't die without it. Granted it makes people happy but I'll take ice-CREAM over chocolate anyday.

CHICAGO!! (A prior typed email and photos)
I was there from thursday till Sunday and it was pretty good. Din had class till thursday afternoon so we (us and another couple) left like at 5ish and went to factory outlets that were a little away from Chicago. And I left with a black dress that looks more like a shirt but extended and heels. Then we got in to Chicago quite late and ate dinnner at chinatown where they had really big portions. And by the time we got back and checked in it was about midnight. Then the next day we woke up and ate hot dogs for breakfast and went to check out the chicago theater and get tickets for just for laughs for that night (which we walked pass on the first night we were heading to the hotel) cuz a comedian that din likes was hosting the show and the rest of the comedians were pretty funny too. We had box seats which were quite fun and not too far away from the front. Oh we bough popcorn and brough it in. Supposed to be pretty famous popcorn that ppl travel the country to get but I thought it was entirely to buttery on top of the flavour (caremel and cheese not together of course). After the show we headed to this famous deep dish pizza place that I would go there to try once but not good enough for me to return or recommend. It's different and really deep but the wait is about 45 mins to an hour from the time you order the pizza.

Anyway the second day we went to this place called millenium park where theres this silver bean that reflects everything... and a fountain with two screens where there are a million children playing ... anyway the screens are like two brick walls that show a face and sit out water at the mouth area. The kids were elated when the mouth poured water out.

Anyway, after that we went to hunt down the Threadless store and I forgot to bring the stupid guide book along with us so I got gen to google it for me but she gave me the address to the business office and we only found that out after we walked an hour or so to find the place. Actually I had a sneaking suspicion that it was wrong when we got off at the stop the guide book told us to get off at but the lady who worked at the station gave us directions to go down a few more stations cuz it was no where near the first stop. So after an eternity and finding out it was the business address, we went back to the first stop we were at and I googled it on my phone... So after another eternity of walking, we finally get there and I am so DEAD TIRED but I am also dead set on leaving with something just cuz I spent an eternity looking for the bloody shop! So I got this blue shirt that has a fat man holding balloons of animals... its cuter than it sounds haha it was either that or a girl holding a sheet on a white shirt. Hold on let me find pictures.
So essentially, how it works is they have ppl submit their designs and those that win are sold in the shop on friday and then online on Monday. Anyway then after that we went to this place called Navy pier for dinner at buba gump and then fireworks and ice cream =P I got A LOT of really bad shots and some good ones and there was this really cute smiley face fireworks shot that I got =P And then by the time we got back I was so tired all I wanted to do was sleep and never be woken up.
Anyway the last day was spent in chinatown again cuz the rental car was parked there (cheap parking $10/day vs $50/day at the hotel) and we went to take a number for this really popular dimsum place. Then we went to this bakery with apparently really yummy egg tarts. The best in AMERICA and they had really good tau huay too. Anyway after that we went back to the dim sum place and when they seated us we waited damn long for damn little food cuz the good stuff kept running out like the chicken feet and pork ribs. oH ANYWAY, I have a chicken feet convert(the first time he ate them in Boston he didnt think they were that great)!

Din liked them so much he insisted we wait for a second round... LOL So we had to wait till she came around again. It was a substansial amount for a normal person especially after tau huay and egg tart but din and his friend are eating machines so after that they wanted to go to this other place for more food while me and that guys wife wanted bubble tea. We ended up heading back to the bakery to buy more egg tarts and char siew buns and baos before heading to the mini mart to get chinese veggies, all to bring back to indiana. Anyway after that they went to the other eating place and his friend ordered pork chicken and duck (three in one, and yes its actually a dish) with rice and veggies while he had pork and chicken with rice. Damn funny man the both of them.

Then after they were done we all headed for bubble tea at the place with really big portions we went to eat at the first night. It's really yummy bubble tea with fresh fruit instead of syrups and the peals are nice and soft, just right really!

Anyway when we finally headed towards indiana we all fell asleep except for wing fai (din's friend) and he stopped at this starbucks that is connected to a hotel midway for us all to pee and there was all the vintage fords on tour there so we had lots of fun walking around the carpark taking photos.Facebook photos tell a better story. Then when we finally hit the road again, not long after there was a major jam cuz it was a two lane highway and we had to merge to one lane cuz they were doing construction. And we were essentially getting on the same road as the traffic going the opposite direction, so that they could construct the whole of one road heading in one direction. So after we made it through the jam, we saw just as crazy a jam heading in the other direction cuz they were also merging from two lanes to one. Damn stupid lah by the time we got back all the food places were closed cuz we had to pick up wing fai's car and return the rental. He didn't want to drive his car cuz chicago isnt that safe and we left the car unattended for 3 days.
So that's my enjoyment for the summer and I am headed back to boston this weekend :'(
